To use this car set, create a new directory under the CARS directory
for Indycar Racing II called PPG96.  Copy the unzipped files into 
this directory.  To select this car set, start ICR2 and select 
Driver Info.  Select PPG96 and head to the tracks!

We would like to thank Peter Burke for providing access to excellent
photos he took during the '96 season.  The quality of the carset owes

Montgomery. 

We took a few artistic liberties with a few cars.  We've placed the 
logo usually seen from the rear of Paul Tracy's car on the rear wing.
We thought this would help identify who is ahead of you :-)  Also the 
sidepods on the Walker Racing car cannot be different colors as on
the real cars.  This is a function of Indycar Racing's graphics 
engine. 

The Number 70 Kodiak car is the "signature" car of Richard C.
Montgomery.  We have included Vitolo's car as a separate pcx file.
Use the data recorded for Richard's entry in the drivers2.txt file 
(though Richard can driver better than the figures reflect in the 
drivers2.txt file ;-))

Whenever possible real logos and artwork lifted from sponsors' web
sites were used for the decals.

The drivers2.txt file is up to date throughout the 1996 PPG season.

rec.autos.simulators for regular updates.
